SmartTourniquet lets you control the flow of blood to the legs and therefore produces high quality images that might otherwise be spoiled by venous contamination due to fast blood flow. Use of the SmartTourniquet dramatically improves the quality of peripheral MR angiography. Also great for use in CT!

A set of high quality thigh blood pressure cuffs for use in the MRI environment and for use in CT

Each kit contains two each of thigh cuffs, extension tubing and manometer.

Features

• A set of two thigh cuffs, manometer, and extension tubing

• Compatible for use in the MR Environment; there are no negative effects on MR images

• Made of heavy duty, long-lasting, stain resistant fabric

• Has kink resistant, extra long extension tubing that reaches easily into the magnet allowing inflation and maintenance of inflation without removing the patient from the interior of the magnet

• Extension tubing has a compact shape which does not take up too much space or easily get tangled up

• Pressure gauge is attached to the cuff assembly and is easy to read and user friendly; with the twist of a knob they switch between inflation and deflation modes

GUAGE WILL GO TO 250 MMHG PRESSURE BUT WILL NOT HOLD AT THAT PRESSURE-IS MEANT FOR 60-70MMHG RANGE
