MRI Non-Magnetic Pneumatic Transport Ventilator

MRI Non-Magnetic Pneumatic Transport Ventilator is a small, lightweight transport ventilator designed for use on patients from pediatric to adult in size.
This ventilator has simple -to-use controls for volume-targeted or pressure-limited ventilation.  With a built-in high output demand flow CPAP system, critical care ventilation needs are optimized for spontaneous and mandatory breaths.  Operating without the need of electrical power, the ventilator can care for the most difficult patients wherever they may be located.
Use this ventilator as your key to an all hazards approach to mechanical ventilatory support.  Be prepared for any emergency or loss of electrical power.
Use this ventilator in your ambulance, on your aircraft, within MRI or wherever you need mechanical ventilation.

Benefits
All pneumatic operation, no batteries or external power needed to provide ventilation
Switch from noninvasive face mask ventilation to invasive ventilation seamlessly and without interruption
Low spontaneous work of breathing compared to other transport ventilators
Built-in CPAP / PEEP system with automatic sensitivity for changing patient needs means no need for external CPAP valves
Mandatory and spontaneous breaths at 100% or use 65% oxygen to prolong your oxygen tanks
MRI compatible with remote alarm capability so you can meet patient needs in your special procedure areas
Integrated all-pneumatic alarm system keeps you alerted to patient circuit disconnects and a low gas supply

Designed for ventilating patients in pre-hospital and hospital areas
Disaster Preparation
Air / Ground Ambulance
Emergency Department
In-Hospital Transports
Intensive Care Unit
Post-Anesthesia Recovery Rooms
MRI and other Radiology Suites
Military Field Hospital and Evacuation
Recommended VE-5001 & VE-5002(Remote Alarm with Cable) for use with this product

Feature

Benefit

All pneumatic design

  • No need to worry about batteries – just attach the circuit and go
  • Electrical connection headaches gone

  • Tidal Volume control
  • Calibrated
  • 360 to 1,500 ml
  • Adjusts inspiratory time
  • Ventilatory support for all patients, pediatric/adult
  • Single control makes it easy to set the desired tidal volume
  • No calculations required
  • Patient receives the set tidal volume with fixed inspiratory flow, up to the set Peak Pressure level

  • PEEP / CPAP control
  • Calibrated
  • 0 to 20 cm H2O
  • True CPAP is integrated into the ventilator
  • No special external PEEP valves to get lost
  • Automatic sensitivity, no additional adjustment required for optimum support
  • Low imposed work of breathing helps your patient breathe easier
  • Supports noninvasive ventilation with mask application

  • Peak Pressure control
  • Calibrated
  • 15 to 75 cm H2O
  • Pressure release safety, pressure is limited and will not rise over the set limit
  • Can be used for pressure limited ventilation, set for desired peak ventilating pressure
  • Audible alert for high pressure/flow characteristics from the patient

  • 2 Oxygen levels
  • 65% or 100%
  • Spontaneous and mandatory breaths are provided at the same FIO2 for consistent care
  • 100% oxygen is always available for critically ill patients
  • Using 65% will double the length of time the ventilator operates on a tank of oxygen

  • Mandatory Breath control
  • "On” for mechanical breaths
  • "Off” for CPAP only

  • Allows you to turn off mandatory breaths and provide CPAP only
  • No need for a different device to provide face mask CPAP
  • Flip of the switch easily converts from mask to ET-tube
  • Audible and visual alarm system (model A only)

  • Alarm warns whenever the patient becomes disconnected
  • Also alarms when there is too low of gas supply pressure
  • Is always on so you can’t forget it
  • No batteries to worry about
  • Output to a remote alarm so you can monitor the patient when you’re out of the room
