PearlFit Forehead MRI Positioning Aids

Help your patients lay in the same position comfortably. Combined with other Pearltec positioning aids your patients can remain  comfortably immobile. The Pearlfit Forehead consists of two components and is used to support the patient's head in prone position.

Polyurethane Foil:
Biocompatible
Very durable, stretchy and hard to break.

EPS Pearls:
Conform to patients anatomy without pressure points.

Membrane:
Permeable to air and impermeable to liquids.

Weld seams:
Very durable and hard to break.

The PearlFit Effect:
PearlFit positioning aids allow a stable but yet pressure free positioning of patients. The effect is commonly known from beanbags â€" the weight of the (part of the) body suppresses the pearls and makes them interlock into each other. It is similar to vacuum cushions without the need to draw air out (less stable, but also less hard). It can be compared to a footprint in the sand.
